Sam Skelton

Sam is Head of Legal for Lumata, a mobile tech­no­logy busi­ness backed by tech-focused private equity house Fran­cisco Part­ners. Created 15 months ago, Lumata hit the ground running and now has 450 staff in 10 markets and counts tier-one oper­ators and blue chip brands amongst its clients. Before this, Sam was Regional Legal Counsel for a global mar­keting ser­vices group and launched / grew a number of adverting and media agen­cies, including rolling out a spe­cialist mobile outfit across EMEA. In addi­tion to being a Soli­citor, Sam is an admitted New York Attorney and is well placed to advise on both US and UK legal issues, including com­mer­cial con­tracts, data privacy, cor­porate restruc­turing, HR and brand pro­tec­tion.
