The Mobile Academy

Dr Alastair Moore, Course Founder

As a researcher and entre­preneur Alastair sup­ports start-up activity and SME engage­ment across UCL, with a par­tic­ular focus on mobile and digital enter­prise. Alastair designed and delivered pilot ver­sions of The Mobile Academy course. He is an hon­orary researcher at UCL Advances and has an interest in optim­isa­tion, vision, machine learning and mobile. During his doc­torate he was a research engineer at  Sharp Labor­at­ories Europe and is co-founder of UCL spinout Satalia Inc. Alastair has also con­sulted on transna­tional European pro­jects and has studied at the London School of Eco­nomics and the London Busi­ness School.
